MY 10 THINGS

1. The last You Tube video I watched was a guy peeling a banana with his ass cheeks. No joke.

2. I once entered a contest to see how far I could shoot a jelly bean out of my nose and won launching it 7 feet and 4 inches. It was a popcorn flavored Jelly Belly and I won two movie ticket coupons and a box of Sugar Babies.

3. I go to Faery World in Veneta, Oregon every year. I like to dress up and run around with the Faeries on the “bad” faery day. I got to meet Brian Froud (Puppet Master, you’ve likely seen his work in Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal) a couple years ago as a result when my niece won the Littlest Faery Costume Contest.

4. I live to take pictures. My camera is always with me and ready to go. I miss nothing, though I wish people could see what I see through the lens. Somehow I rarely get my photos to come out the way I initially saw them.

5. I took up archery last year after meeting fuyurou <[link] [link] on our college campus. It’s one of my favorite activities now and I’m getting pretty good with a long bow shooting Mongolian Style.

6. I used to have a Siamese fighting fish that I named Sardine. My neighbor in dorm had a Goldfish named Anchovy. We didn’t eat them, but contemplated it one drunken night.

7. When I was in elementary, my friend Crystal stuck her tongue on a frozen pole in the playground. I did it too because some people were laughing at her. After I did it, people thought it was cool and half the class ended up stuck to various toy structure pieces. My teacher was speechless for an hour trying to get us all unglued and back to class. Talk about sheep.

8. Black is my favorite color. Not because I’m Emo, but because I see every color hidden in its depths.

9. If I could have anything in the world, it would be to live in a society I could respect. My biggest fear is that it will never happen.

10. I’m afraid of the dark. Seriously. It’s so bad that my friends tricked me into seeing Darkness Falls and after that I couldn’t sleep without the overhead lights on for almost a year because I was afraid my nightlight would fail.
